5 songs to get you happy

Ever wonder what song to turn too to get that up-beat feeling, groove feeling that you want to put a smile on your face instantly? We all go through those moments when we feel a little low, beaten up, mellow and just that sluggish feeling. This parenting gig can be tough sometimes, right?

I have found my five favourite songs to play when I need that ‘pick-me-up’ kinds feeling:

1. Mika – Love Today.

2. Build Me Up Buttercup – The Foundations

Classic! What more can I say? Just a simple, good olde classic song that gets to that spot EVERY time!

3. U2 – Beautiful Day

I am there singing every time!

4. Born In The USA – Bruce Springsteen

This man is just a God when it comes to song, music and performing. No more words!

5. Crazy In Love – Beyonce

It is the one you actually want to dance too. It is the one that takes you back to those good old days.

What songs help you feel a little more happy? 

I like red wine, coffee and a good book {not necessarily in that order}. Mum to 2 rugrats, ex-psychotherapist turned tech entrepreneur.
