I am grateful for: the end of winter

spring time

Winter is officially over. Hopefully, this means the end of rainy days, cold days, miserable days of having the heater up to it’s maximum. And in Melbourne, as most other Melbournians will know, it has been a loooonnnnngggg winter.

The random days of sunshine have been hindered by the blustery cold wind. So this week I am grateful for spring, and what spring will bring. The blossoms are beginning to bloom; the flowers are beginning to show their colours; birds are chirping; and the puffy winter jacket is beginning to make it’s way to the back of the cupboard.

Yes, spring is here.

So this week I am grateful for:

64. the white pretty spring blossom – My trees have been bare for the last three months. Three months of no leaves, no colour, and hidden life. Now, life is beginning to show in a whole new way.

65. random risk taking nights – tonight we are heading to a restaurant we can not book. The kind of restaurant that knows they are so great (or maybe just a slight ego) that they do not take bookings. So we are taking a punt, and hoping we will eat before 10 pm. Fingers crossed.

66. Inspiring moments – inspiration is everywhere. You just have to notice it. And I am really excited to be launching my new linking party for bloggers and community for non bloggers; a place to share your inspiring moments. Tune in on Monday to link up and share and inspire others with your moments.

What are you grateful for?

I’m so glad winter is over too!! While I love curling up in front of my log fire, I don’t love the colds my girls keep getting. I am hanging out for warmer weather, and nice sunny days so we can enjoy the park :)
