I just found out about the horrific shooting in the US. My heart is aching.Those precious little souls have had their life taken from them. Tragic. Words can not even really describe.
And in the pain that I feel, I realise how lucky I am. To be in a country where guns are banned, and have two precious monkeys at home with me today. A simple Saturday for us, while a tragic day for others. And so, I am now going to give these monkeys of mine a hug, and tell them “I Love you”.
88. The hug: there is just something so special about this little action of two arms going around another. There is something so unique, so deep and so precious.
89. A random kiss from the big Little Miss. I know one day these little kisses will be limited. “No Mummy, no kiss”. I am already beginning to hear it. Treasuring that moment is happening more and more.
90. Stillness: And sometimes it is just about being in the moment and appreciating it. Yes, I speak about it often. Yet, sometimes I forget to be still. And just like that, she eats her foot… while I am still, while I choose to notice. Kind of gross. Kind of cute.
