To my darling Big E

You are starting big school next week. It is really Kinder, but you like to call it Big School. What can I say, you have just grown. I look at you every day and ask myself where did those baby moments go? You grew up like yesterday. Every day, you do nothing but surprise me.

You have come so far in your short, yet long nearly four years of life. From a quiet little girl who doesn’t speak to strangers to someone that has so much more strength and confidence. You are progressing each day. You melt my heart. You now pay for your own drinks, books and other items that we buy together on shopping trips. No questions asked. No hesitation. You just give the money. Something so small, but yet so big for you.

You are always looking after your little brother while at the same time driving him even more bonkas. You do this with your Mummy and Daddy too sometimes, drive us a little crazy. We know that your determination for having everything the right way and your way is what drives this strong personality. But we do need to teach you how to control that frustration of yours because sweety, stomping of the feet is not going to get you anywhere.

But you will get there. In your own time. Because that is what you do.

My darling E, I want you to know that you have the kindest heart with the kindest soul. Don’t let anyone tell you can’t do something. Don’t let anyone tell you not to do what you want to do. And know that whenever people say not nice things and do not nice things, it has nothing to do with you. Stand your ground and stand up for yourself. Respect yourself highly always.

Be wise and be smart.
But have fun always.
Be kind and gentle.
But be firm when you need to be.
Be the leader.
But let people lead you sometimes.
Never be nasty.
Rather be constructive.
Never be hurtful.

Always be you!

We love you so xo
