when change comes rolling in

new change

There will be a new look very soon. A fresh new look. A little glitz, a little glam, and a great new change. Aristotle once said,

“Change in all things is sweet.”

Ohh this is going to be sweet. But sometimes change can be a little challenging. I have to admit, I am a little concerned about a new interface, a new program to get my head around and a new concept to grasp. Just when I thought I had it all sorted.

Change can be a little challenging. Can be a little overwhelming. It can sometimes tip our bucket over the edge.

It wasn’t the last little change, but maybe the accumulation of change.

We all deal with change differently. We all embrace it a little differently.

Some of us relish in the lack of change while others relish in the constant change.

There will be a few changes this year coming my way. A few big changes. Major ones in fact! All of which I am excited about but I would be lying if I told you I was not nervous.

A little anxious. A little worried.

That is the think about change…. it comes with so many emotions, feelings.

And in this case, a new look.

How do you cope with change?

Do you embrace it or run away from it?

I like to think I am open to change but the fact is, I know sometimes I only embrace it if it sits right with me. Maybe I’d have to say, then, that I’m adaptable to change, even if it takes a bit of time, like the new FB timeline, for example. Then again, I know I have resisted change sometimes but usually if it’s imposed on me from the outside and doesn’t make sense or worse, has proof to show it’s unlikely to work. maybe the whole issue is about who drives the change. Hope the rambles make sense! And congratulations and good luck with it all. A vibrant and dynamic life cannot stay stagnant!

So tue Veronica. Change is much easier if it sits well with you. Maybe sometimes it is all about the type of change xx

I’m better with change than I used to be. I think for me going through some massive changes all at once I was better equipped for minor ones going forward.

Too much change can be so overwhelming! I can see how it would prepare you for changes again in the future! It is all a learning curve xx

What’s going to happen Tahlia?!!! haha.. so excited for your new changes actually :) For me, I understand that change is inevitable so even if I don’t embrace it full-on, I accept it and try to work around it.

    • Tahlia

Great advice Ai, working with what you have been given and working around it is a great attitude! xx

I’m not huge on big changes. Little ones (like the look of a website), I’m pretty cool with, especially if it makes life easier. Looking forward to your changes!

    • Tahlia

Thanks Julie. Im looking forward to it too! xx

Oooh I’m intrigued!! Can’t wait to see what you are up to! Personally I need change… a lot… or I stagnate. My husband is the opposite – probably why we balance each other out. Good luck with everything!

    • Tahlia

You and I are very similar I think Misha. I also need change and my husband is quite ok to not have too much change. Yep, all about balance too xx P.s. Would you like to write another post for TPF? x

I like change, but I also get very scared its going to effect the relationships around me.. especially the one with my partner.

Big change in 18 days. I will be marrying my partner, the father to my 2 children.. will everything change? Or just carry on as normal with the ok hubby jokes?

    • Tahlia

WOW Yvette… Amazing news! And yes, I big big change! Having two kids together you have already built your life together in so many ways, so in that way it probably won’t change. But a little change is always good, a new meaning, a new connection maybe.

Have a wonderful wonderful day!!! Enjoy every second as the day just goes by sooo quickly! xx

It depends what it is to be honest. I love growing, and moving on, but I hate goodbyes. Sometimes a big change makes me quite nervous. Not because of the change itself, but the finishing of a chapter.

Change freaks me out.. I like routine, I like the same.. I stress out about changes but sometimes change is for the best and once I’m through it I love it…
