When you are put into a situation, sometimes challenging, it can be hard at times to see the light. Sometimes, when we are down, in an emotional roller coaster and riding out the journey the moments of joy can dwindle. But yet, the irony, it is such situations and challenges that give us the opportunity to see the joy and happy moments because we ordinarily would not if we were not in the situation. And when the emotional roller coaster of life takes us through this journey, I can not help but wonder what ride are we really riding?

This solo parenting gig has been tough. My toughest challenge I think since birthing my rug rats. I have found moments of happiness, don’t get me wrong, but there have been many moments of tears too. Tears have been building up inside over the most silly things, silly.
But this journey has been a journey. And in many regards I am so grateful that I have experienced it. Because it has taught me a few things about myself, my weaknesses and my strengths. And this I am happy for.
