There is nothing more I love then curling up on the couch and watching a movie with my husbie. Even with my non-reclining often hard couch that is not the comfiest, we still love it! I love it even more when he actually stays awake. I always know the quality of a movie by whether he actually falls asleep, starts snoring, or stays awake. You will often see me glance over at him throughout the movie to check.
When I was a kid I used to watch the same movie over and over and over again. On rotation was Lassie and The Lion King. My brother hated Lassie. But I loved it. And I would probably watch it again today.

Here are my top 5 movies to watch after the kids are in bed, with a glass of wine and maybe a fresh bowl of cherries {or other fruit that is in season}:
1. Con Air
I always get a kick out of watching this movie. The action is just wonderful! And there is just something about Nicolas Cage that makes your heart melt. Or maybe it is the love song “how do I live without you” that gets my heart melting…
2. Sex And The City
Yes, I watch this over and over again. Has my husband seen it? Maybe once. Will he watch it again? NO! This one is just for us girls when the boys mights be out, fallen asleep early, or on that ‘time out weekend’.
3. Hook
Robin Williams has always, and still is, one of my most favourite actors. This movie just takes you to another world, a fantasy and inspires you to believe again.
4. The Shawshank Redemption
A movie that portrays so many poignant themes is a movie worth re-watching
5. Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
A long movie… but I love a movie that grabs you from beginning to end.
