making paper chains

how to make paper chains

I am taking a new direction this year. I am taking some new steps. Crafting! I have been collecting paper, bubble wrap, foam fillers, anything really, that can be used for crafting. Because my little girl just loves it. She has that ‘arty’  streak in her. A little like me. And if I can instil this element of creativity in her, well, I will be happy with that.

Paper chains are just too easy. These are so simple. So classic! And with any scrap paper lying around, just cut them to size, glue and chain them together.

1. Cut pieces of paper length ways, with about a 3 centimetre width.

2. Don’t worry about having them all the exact size, some can be wider, some can be longer.

3. Glue at one end, stick together.

4. Let your imagination run wild!

Yes, today I grateful for the scrap pieces of paper lying around that can be turned into master pieces, paper chains, and anything similar really.

Do you remember making paper chains as a kid? What are you grateful for today?
