Firstly, my apologies for this delated article. Usually the weekend cooking article is posted on Fridays, but yesterday was just not a good day. While trying to attend meetings, wrangle my children, and keep my head up (with my eyes open), it didn’t leave room for much else. But this morning I woke feeling like a new woman, and Mumma. So…I am thinking this weekend calls for some baking. The weather is not looking so good and feels a little gloomy, so a little sweetness is needed. Being away for the last week has also meant no baking for the Little Miss. There is definitely some cooking needed.
Chocolate chip cookies are always a winter here, loved by all. The beauty of them is… you can add how many or how little chocolate bits you want, a little extra spice, white or dark, vanilla essence, nuts or no nuts; the imagination is in action.
