Have you ever wondered what Pomegranate smells like?

Have you ever wondered what Pomegranate smells like? You see, I love Pomegranate! I mean, really love it! There is something about Pomegranate that just makes a meal, a salad, a fillet of fish, a piece of chicken, taste so much better. And now, I can have my dishes smelling of pomegranate.

The funny thing is, I never knew that pomegranate had a smell. I just eat it, not smell it. (Insert note to self to stop and smell a few extra things in my life). But this dishwashing liquid from Palmolive comes with a fresh and fruity Pomegranate scent to infuse my kitchen while I am using it to cut through my greasy dishes. Sparking clean! Sparking smell!

When it comes to cleaning my dishes, the one thing I need is a powerful cleaner. I need a dishwashing liquid that likes grease and oil, and I mean really likes it. Because not only do I need dishwashing liquid for my dishes, I need it for my clothes. It was only the other day that something oily spilt on my top. What did I do? Soaked it in a bit of Palmolive dishwashing liquid. And it worked! There is grease all round here.

In case you don’t know, pomegranate (the real fruit that is), stains terribly. On clothes, and even on cutting boards. So this is for sure going to get the red stains out of my cutting board. They may taste great, but man they are messy and red!

Palmolive have an antibacterial dishwashing liquid too, with lemon extracts. So, it fights germs. I guess this will be great for my dishes too, especially for those pans that may have been sitting over night, dirty and grimy because I was too lazy to wash them the night before.

So next time you are thinking of a dishwashing liquid, think of Palmolive, because there is nothing like the smell of pomegranate throughout your kitchen, and in your handbag for that matter too.!

The good news is, you can have a taste of these wonderful Palmolive dishwashing liquid range. I have three packs to give away, each containing 1 x pomegranate dishwashing liquid, and 1 x antibacterial dishwashing liquid. Each bottle is worth $4.99.

{P.s. The real pomegranate’s can be found in your green grover or the supermarket}

All you have to do is simply tell me:

Where else you might use your dishwashing liquid?

I regularly mix my dish washing liquid with warmed up vinegar and spray it in my shower. I let it sit for 30 minutes & it eats up soap scum like I’ve never seen before!

I use my dishwashing liquid as you might a cleanser. For example: my floors have never been cleaner.

I kind of figured that the properties in the dish washing liquid are made to clean up all kind of gunk. So, why not try them on other grot?

Saves me buying a different cleanser for everything around the house.

My kids refuse to use a handwash, despite my best attempts and various offerings. They only ever use dish detergent to wash their hands. It’s usually like a lemony love fest in our house. A bit of variety can only be a good thing for my assaulted sense of smell!

    A great carwashing product.

I use dishwashing liquid on bathroom mirrors and car windscreens. It stops them from fogging up.

My wife raises an eyebrow sometimes but I’m always nicking a bit of dishwashing detergent from the kitchen for different things. Great for shining up the boat! (I also do most of the cooking and dishes in our house, so I hope that didn’t sound like I consider the kitchen my wife’s domain!)

Oop, too many words! Well, we also use it for making bubble mix!

A quirt of dishwashing liquid on a sponge is perfect for wiping down the front of the dishwwasher and fridge.

I love Mary’s idea. And given that my current dishwashing solution and floor cleaning solution are in very similar looking containers, I probably have washed my floors with dishwashing solution!
(And I can’t help confessing that at first glance, I thought the sticker on the product said ‘exotic juicy stench’. Mmmmm, stench.)

Apart from doing the dishes (we have a dishwasher, but I still need to do the dishes every night… why is this so??!?) we use dishwashing liquid on the kids’ slip ‘n’ slide to make it extra slippery. The pomegranate one would help get the kids smelling lovely too ;)

I use it in my niece’s bubble machine, to clean the bbq and to clean all sorts of surfaces but the best use for it is to wash out the kitty litter tray! I’ve been told it’s completely harmless for the cat and it leaves it smelling sooooo much nicer!

I LOVE Pomegranate, whether it be a dish washing soap or a hand sanitizer or whatever else…I use dish washing soap to pretreat stains on clothing (or any other fabric). Squirt a small bit on the stained area (you don’t need a lot for “regular” sized stains), run cold water on the spot and soap, rub the fabric between your hands until the stain is not noticeable anymore (it may still be a little, but should come clean in the regular wash). Voila!

Just a side note, another product I use to clean stains from any type of fabric (other than delicate clothing) is Windex – yes, just regular Windex. Be careful how much you spray on, it will soap up and you will be scrubbing the soapy Windex out of the area for a while :) But combine with a little water, scrub with a brush or other appropriate implement, and you will be amazed at the results!
