fun outdoor games

20120506-173549.jpg

While taking a stroll up to our local cafe we couldn’t not stop at every fourth, third, second house to see what flowers they have in their front yard.

And not only the flowers in the front yards, but the little flowers on the natures strip, the weeds that we all want to destroy but have these cute yellow flowers, and of course, dandelions.

So we stopped, we collected, we picked a few and we got home with a bucket full of flowers.

fun outdoor games

This is a great activity if you are ever stuck on ideas.

A stroll up your street.

See what you can find.

Stop and collect.

And put them in a bucket, or basket to sort through later.

Or you could even use what you collected for a collage or craft activity.

We love doing this and then use our collection for pictures, as different ways to paint (using sticks, flowers as paint brushes) and in play dough. It’s a great activity which leads to others! Thanks for sharing.
