Family Life

simple is simpleness

Sometimes life takes us on a journey.

One of my dear blogger friends had a tough time the other day.

Hugs all round are sent.

Tough times, challenging times and some real worrying times.

It is these times that we have to realise and appreciate the simple things in life.

The little things

best friends

The minor things

The tiny things that may seem so simple but take our breath away.

When life gets that little but challenging, remember the simple moments.

Time goes by in a moment.

Life goes by in a moment.

just a little prettiness

Do what you love doing. Enjoy it. Appreciate it.

What is simple loveliness for you today?

Taking a moment to think of your question and actually be aware of my breathing……deep breath in….deep breath out…..in….out….in….out…… I’m far too rushed most of the time.

and counting the ins and outs of the breath… it is amazing how some deep breathing can slow everything down for that moment in time :)

For me – simple loveliness is having my whole family under the one roof, sleeping peacefully and knowing they are in good health and are happy.

I think we all have those simple loveliness moments all through the day but frequently we forget to stop and appreciate them. One of my simple loveliness moments today was my three year old telling me whole-heartedly that he loved me in the midst of our usual afternoon chaos. He just stopped, looked me in the eye, smiled and told me he loved me whilst chaos and destruction happened all around him (2 other brothers). It was like it was just he and I in the room, alone, in silence. Simple loveliness.

Jacqui that is simple loveliness! You are so right in that sometimes we do forget to stop to see the little moments. It is these moments that you just had that make us realise xx

It’s those little moments in a crazy day, the ones that just happen, expectantly, and make everything seem worthwhile.

Today it was a little moment of love when I stole two minutes break and climbed into the hammock next to my big boy… he put his arms around me and said “Love you mum” then ran off to play….

    • Tahlia

ohh how amazing!!!! I am just picturing that… heart is melting…. xx

Loveliness for me today was that my sweet friend came by my house and gave me some home made food that she cooked. You need theses lovely moments in life to be able to get through craziness.

    • Tahlia

anna it is those types of friends that are just priceless to have. Hope the food was yummy too xx
